Admitted applicants are adults with at least 40 transferable semester credits – preferably including the general education requirements such as English composition, college algebra, foreign language, science, social science, communications, humanities, arts, etc. Many Passport program applicants have completed an associate degree, although that is not required for admission. Interested applicants with less than 40 transferable semester credits are provided academic advising that will smooth the transition into the Executive Passport program at Stetson University.

You may complete a “Free Application for Federal Student Aid” (FAFSA) at any time – preferably as soon as you submit your application for the Passport program.
Be sure to include Stetson University’s Federal ID number (001531) on the FAFSA.
The FAFSA report will be sent to Stetson’s Financial Aid office electronically. Stetson University will create a specialized financial aid package for you when you are accepted in the Passport program.
Also, submit the Stetson University financial aid application and the accompanying Florida Resident Access Grant (FRAG) application.
Stetson University's Financial Aid Code is 001531.
Full-time status for financial aid and academic purposes means that you are taking at least twelve (12) credit-hours in any Fall or Spring semester. The arrangement of the Executive Passport sessions throughout the academic year will allow you to maintain “full-time” status by taking two courses (six credits) in each eight-week session.
Dropping below 12 credits (full-time status) in any semester affects financial aid eligibility and prolongs the time required for graduation. Your academic and financial aid advisors will provide individual guidance as needed.
The BBA at Stetson University requires a minimum of 120 semester credits and completion of all program requirements.
Time to degree is a result determined by the number of requirements a student completes prior to entry, the number of requirements remaining to be completed, and the amount of credits a student completes each session.
If, for example, a student comes into the program with 60 credits from an AA degree (i.e. half-way to the bachelor’s degree) and needs approximately 60 more business course credits to complete the bachelor’s degree and continues through the Passport Program in “full-time” status with two courses in each session, that student should be able to graduate in about two academic years.
Your academic advisor will, after the preliminary evaluation of your transfer credits, provide you with an “advising letter” and course completion grid showing your particular path to graduation.
The total semester transfer credits that can be applied to a degree program at Stetson University is 75. The Registrar’s Office makes the final determination about transfer of credits into the University.
Stetson University’s Executive Passport Program does not require an associate degree for admission. The minimum number of transferable credits for admission is 40. Academic advising will be provided to any interested applicant with less than 40 transferable credits.
Stetson University accepts approved transfer credits from any “regionally accredited” college or university. Request a complementary transfer credit evaluation immediately after you submit the Free Secure Executive Passport Application.

Proof of completion of high school was necessary for admission to your initial college/university and will appear on your official transcript from that institution. The Executive Passport Program, therefore does not require you to re-submit your high school grades and test scores for admission. Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB) or College Level Examination Program (CLEP) courses to be considered for college transfer credits will require that original documentation be sent to Stetson University.
