Convenient “Saturday Only” BBA Degree Classes
– For Adults with Transferable Credits

What & When

Executive Passport is a "Saturday only" Bachelor of Business Administration degree completion program offered at the Stetson University Center at Celebration located in Celebration, Florida.
The Passport BBA degree completion program enables a person who has an active family and professional life to obtain a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Stetson University.

Students may complete two three-credit courses in each academic session. Each session consists of eight contact weeks. There are five sessions per academic year in the Executive Passport program - starting in August, October, January, March and May.

Who We're Looking For

The Passport BBA program is designed for mature, upwardly motivated students who are driven toward a personal goal of academic achievement and career advancement. The typical student in the program has several years of work experience and some previous progress toward an academic degree. Admitted Passport program applicants will have at least 40 transferable semester credits. Interested persons with less than forty credits will be provided academic advice toward becoming eligible for admission.

The Program & Faculty

The Executive Passport BBA degree completion program consists of junior and senior level business courses generally taught by full-time Stetson University School of Business Administration faculty. These are the same faculty members who teach the traditional undergraduate students at Stetson’s DeLand campus.

The set of courses offered runs the entire gamut of relevant business topics so much in demand by employers today. Courses include Management, Business Law and Ethics, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Statistics/Quantitative Methods and Management Information Systems (see
Areas of Study). Each course is selected and designed to provide value for students in their
current work environment as well as in their future work environment.

Costs

Starting in Fall 2010, the cost-per-credit-hour for each course in the Executive Passport program at Stetson University is $640 or $2560 per four-credit (1 unit) course. Students may take as many as ten courses (units) per year (with two courses each session) in the Executive Passport program.

Financial Aid

Qualifying students may be eligible for financial aid from a variety of sources. One form of financial aid is provided to Stetson University students having resided in the State of Florida for at least one year - the Florida Resident Access Grant (FRAG). Continuation and funding levels for the FRAG are determined annually by the Florida Legislature. The Passport program has a financial aid specialist who will assist you with the financial aid process.

Financial Aid Application Process

1) FRAG (Florida Residence Access Grant) - If you have been a Florida resident for at least one year, complete and submit the signed Florida Resident Access Grant application (FRAG) application.

2) FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) - Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), available on the federal web site (FAFSA), as soon as possible. Before beginning your FAFSA, you should register for a PIN (Personal Identification Number). You may do this at the same website. The PIN will serve as your electronic signature on the FAFSA. This will allow the FAFSA process to be completely paperless. Students who do not utilize a PIN will have to print a signature page and mail it to the federal processor. This may cause a delay of the receipt of your FAFSA results. Be sure to list Stetson University, code 001531, as a recipient of your information. Allow 4 weeks for processing.

3) To prevent delays in processing your financial aid, please respond promptly to requests from the Office of Financial Aid to provide any additional information. For example, we may require a copy of your most recent federal tax return. (Note: Please do not submit a copy of your federal tax return unless requested to do so.)

Financial Aid Process Assistance

Ms. Glenna Roof (groof@stetson.edu or 386-822-7558), the Financial Aid Liaison for the Executive Passport will assist you with the financial aid process.
